Spray tans are water-based and should not stain. They may come off onto fabrics before your first rinse off, however, any transfer is washable.

Going on vacation? Come in as close to leaving as possible… Usually the day before your flight is best! You want your vacay tan as fresh as possible. 

Have an event or wedding coming up? Come in 2 days prior for the absolute best results! The spray tan solution will need to be left on the skin to develop so plan accordingly!

Yes, Dreamglow By Francesca uses pregnancy-safe solutions. However, since every pregnancy is different, we recommend consulting your physician before booking a spray tan. Additionally, I generally advise against spray tanning during the first trimester, as it can be a sensitive time and may lead to feelings of dizziness or nausea. To further ensure your comfort, although essentially it is safe, I recommend not spraying your face and wearing a mask until the end of your session. This helps limit any excess inhalation! You may use tanning drops to tan your face!

No. Spray tans are water-based and therefore, widely non-pore-clogging.

YES! Spray tanning before vacay is super popular. You can even form a natural tan underneath a spray tan because a spray tan only affects the top layer of the skin.

Absolutely but always remember to use a spray tan safe SPF! Your spray tan is not a “base tan.”

PRO TIP: for a spray tan safe SPF, use a hydrating, lotion based, and of course sulfate-free product!

Spray tans affect the top layer of dead skin cells/amino acids on the skin’s surface. The DHA in the spray tan changes the color of the top layer of skin through a harmless chemical reaction. DHA, the active ingredient in most UV-free tanning products is derived from sugar cane extract and other natural sources.

Express tans contain a higher level of DHA, allowing you to rinse in 2-6 hours.

Gradual tans require 8-12 hours before rinsing so clients will usually sleep in their tan overnight. When you arrive to your appointment, I will help select the perfect option for you.

Rinse your spray tan with lukewarm water at the designated time given to you at your appointment  for 30-60 seconds. Use your hands to gently massage off the bronzer, and avoid using soap during the first rinse.
After your shower, avoid applying lotions or oils to the body until you’ve reached 24 hours!

Yes! At Dreamglow By Francesca the solutions are water-based made with plant-based ingredients to nourish your skin. 

If you have skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis, you can still get a spray tan! Just be sure you do not have an active flare-up on the areas you want tanned. Broken skin should be avoided or covered. I recommend applying a sulfate-free lotion of your choice to those areas a few hours before your appointment!

You should book your appointment 1-3 days before your wedding. I recommend two days out for a perfect result! Don’t forget to book a Bridal trial since Dreamglow By Francesca spray tans are 100% customizable!

You may take a real shower with soap 24 hours after your spray tan. The DHA in the solution takes around 12-24 hours to fully develop which is when you will see your true results. When taking a real shower, be sure the water is lukewarm and use a sulfate-free body wash! After your shower, lightly pat dry your skin and immediately moisturize with a sulfate-free lotion to ensure your skin is super hydrated for your tan to last as long as possible!
